When I arrived at my furever home as a kitten, I was amazed at all the toys I could find in my human’s (soon to be mine) home.
One thing I found very exciting and funny was fruits that were around. Some could roll! Of course, it soon became forbidden (my human pretended that some fruits could be dangerous) – as was jumping and walking on the table to get to them. But I couldn’t care less.
Until the fruits disappeared from my sight. Hmph.
What was your favorite toy as a kitten?
Jewelry! I was fixated on my Mom’s earrings…(while they were on her ears) they are the BEST dangly toy ever!
My favorite toy was my mousie on a long string. Still is my favorite but the Neko fly is catching up.
I was rather fond of stealing pens and pencils from the desk, my Mom’s drawing table – ANYWHERE I could find them. Half the fun was getting UP to the desk of course but kittens are natural climbers so that was no problem. I never played with fruit BUT now I’m thinking I should have given that a try too!

Suki used to have this little small mouse — it’s broken, so we had to throw it away. It was fluffy and green, and she loved it!
Aww Texas, you were just all paws and eyes back then! Our guys never really caught on to fruit (just the same as resident male human!), but dried spaghetti was very interesting. :)
I gotta try dried spaghetti!
Nous on adorait les chaussures!
Aww – cutie pie!
You know the sticks with feathers on the end – well Sabre’s favourite toy was the “stick”?!?! He would take the feathers off and then run around the house, always carrying his stick :D
Awww, youz so cute Texas, still are :) xx00xxx
Aluminum foil balls! Me would play fetch!
Kisses

Ronrons.
I probably should not confess this, but as a kitten, one of my favorite toys (for about five minutes until my human discovered it) was a dried-up hairball that had somehow been missed! My human heard me talking to it and took it away!
Our favorite toys were each other, and then, our human mom. We were only in the upstairs as little kittens, but she gave us little strips of paper to play with and we would play with them till they were completely gone.
Those are such cute pics! I don’t remember what my favorite was when I arrived, I was just glad to be somewhere!
You were so cute, dear Texas :-) A lot of hugs!!!
Little bouncing balls, a laser light… But no fruits!
c’est rigolo les fruits,
Nos jeux préférés sont le plumeau, et la ficelle. et le tunnel pour le traverser comme une fusée ou se cacher.
ronrons d’Opale et Sonye
My humom thinks that my real mom must have neglected showing me how to play. I’m really not very good at it – not interested. But when my “dad” gets the laser light, THAT gets my attention!
Love, Sundae
PS You sure were a cute little kitten!!
Feathers! Although we still occasionally leave fang marks in cherries and grapes…
You were such a sweeeeet kitten :-)) (Well, that’s what Mum is saying * rolls eyes * ) Tex mate, you look better as a cat IMHO!!!
Awww thanks!

Aww, those look like great toys! Why would they disappear??
Neither of the kitties currenly living here were here as kittens.. Star was 2 and Leo was about 9 months. I know 9 months sounds like kitten… but he was already bigger than Star! He did like anything non-catnip, but recently he’s decided that nip is good stuff, lol
We all arrived to our Momma home as full grown kitties.
Mom wishes she had photos of all of us as kittens, but…it wasn’t meant to be.

I used to love playing with straws and q-tips!
Apple rolling! We loved that too. ANd pen whapping.
I loved my kitty toys, especially dangly things on the end of strings. At first when I got here I was too scared to play but after a few weeks I loved it! XOXOXO
While rubberbands are pretty cool, I still have my very first felt mousie. Nothing came take its place, its still my favorite, but it doesn’t look much like a mouse anymore.
Round, rolling fruits look like fun toys to us, Texas! Mom and Dad gotcha’d us as older cats, so we’re not sure what we liked to do as kittens. But we like the Neko Flies Kragonfly now. :)
Kragonlies are the best! Although I am also very eager to get my paw on the new neko flies!

The grasshopper of moms’ Bartagame was quite amusing :)
Mommy says my peacock fevvers and my kickaroos and my mousies!!
Texas, your Mama was probably afraid you would eat the fruit and turn into a fruit ! You know what they say…. you are what you eat!! :p
We liked q-tips and little cat balls and twist ties and boxes. We still do!! :)
the critters in the cottage xo
Oh, I did see my American self playing with fruits ! My favourite toy ? Shoes !… and my human’s fingers !
Purrs.
Texas, you must have been such a kick to watch…not that you aren’t now, but you are a fun loving mancat now! Do you still like fruit that rolls?? And as you know, I don’t know about my kittenhood…sigh
Ca bouge au moindre cop de patte, un jouet génial pour nos chat’mours la cerise !!!
…au moindre coup de patte…
That’s so cute!
