This morning, I read this great post at The Conscious Cat about how humans should take time for themselves. Those are simple yet very wise pieces of advice. It puzzles me that humans have to be reminded about that.
After reading that post, I convinced Kitshka that we should help our human relax and take Sunday in a relaxing way. She has to take time for herself (after feeding us of course) instead of using the evil vacuum cleaner to clean the house. Kitshka was playing with my tail, as always, while I was deep in thought and I had to convince her it would be fun. And fun it was.
Here is how we tried to use hypnosis to relax our human (You can click on the pics to get a closer look at our method).
And at that point there was a big BANG and a human OUCH!
I may have to try hypnosis with my Mom! great idea! We read Ingrid’s post too and LOVED IT!
HA! Seems to me now that you know hypnosis works on your human, you can get ANYTHING that way…..maybe a slightly bigger box too? You two look so snuggly and cozy – what a NICE way to spend a Sunday!

Great idea… unfortunately I ‘m fallen asleep too ;o) …maybe it works better for cream cheese :o) Have an hypnotic sunday ;o)
Kitty hypnosis – just another step toward feline world domination. Thanks for the link to my post!
impressive work. be sure to let us know when you get her to dance like a chicken while handing over the cream cheese.
*giggles*
Hehe.. my cats do kitty hypnosis.. they induce napping all the time.
Great idea! Good luck with the cream cheese!
Just love the way you two have hit it off!

Mollie and Alfie
I think I’m going to have to practice that fur sure!
Oh noes! Now you’ve made OUR Mommy’s eyelids all heavy!
Humans should take a lesson from us and make sure they get their easy Sunday.
I don’t know who is more hypnotized by now, granny or me :)
Just scrolled down on time…
*sound of snoring*
I stare at my human all the time and it does not make her sleepy. I must be doing it wrong. But then, sometimes it does inspire her to give me a brushing – so it can’t be ALL wrong!
That’s a great method! We usually do the Pester-and-Scream-Until-She -Sits-Down routine to nail Mommy to the sofa.
I can’t help but think little Kitshka is going to spill over in that kitty food box and tipple over Tex and her cute little self!
Good luck on monetizing that, guys. You’re onto something big here. I see product, too. T-shirts. Mugs. Baseball caps. Humans dropping to the concrete right and left. You could sell medical insurance too. Think about it!
Hehe, silly kitties! Great idea for getting your human to relax… maybe it will go better next time you try it!
I only have to climb up onto mommy’s lap and she closes her eyes while petting me. My warmth and softness sends her off into a nap for 15 minutes!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
This post just made my day. Texas and Mademoiselle K, you are too funny!
Hey! Me has not tried that for a while……
Kisses
Nellie
HILARIOUS!!!!!
LOVE the photos. LOVE them so much!!!
; ) Katie
Frankly, I don’t want to look at her long enough to hypnotize her. She’s so old she sorta walks around in a trance anyway. You guys look like you’re getting to be pretty good Pals, eh?
We sometimes use that staring technique to get our mom to feed us in the morning too. Its very useful!
Great job! Our mom took a nap with us this afternoon.
You two look very cute!
Hey Guys ! Be careful with your biped, who is going to feed you if something gets wrong, hum ? Purrs from Eirwena.
Radicale, votre méthode ! On adopte !
Ronrons.
impressive!
We hypnotize our humans all the time. It’s especially fun making them fall asleep when they are watching TV. MOL!
hihi c’est efficace.

Good try kids. Love the “tongue” photo. Gene Simmons has nothing on you Texas. Purrs and hugs.
well it works on Kitshka and Mom Linda for sure! Bet that coffee table hurt just a bit, huh? MOL!
Excellent! Actually, I feel quite sleepy myself now…
