Cats in New York: Whole Foods Tribeca Can Has Milk

My human works twice a week not far away from the Tribeca Whole Foods store, in Lower Manhattan, and here is what she saw the other day.

Again: cats rule =^.^=

Just a couple of comments for the Whole Food humans whose mission is healthy eating: we do agree that chocolate milk or cookies are no-nos for kitties, right?

Is it me or does the kitty looks a LOT like Lil Bub?

  1. What an interesting advertisement. We don’t have a Whole Foods, but we sure wouldn’t expect a kitty promoting milk and cookies; though, we can’t think of any cat who wouldn’t want to get their paws on both, even though we humans know they shouldn’t have either. 2. Our grocer sells cat milk and ice cream packaged for dogs. I don’t know who the heck would buy dog ice cream when regular ice cream is cheaper!

  3. We don’t have a Whole Foods around here, but I wish we did. Great display and good way to attract everybody’s attention..hehe even if it was the unexpected–seems like ads are doing a lot of that sort of thing these days..

Yes, the kitty does resemble..mmm..make sure you get the royalties!! :)

  4. Whoa! TW hasn’t been in NYC in ages. She used to work there but it’s so expensive to commute since Governor Waddles stopped providing state aid for transportation. She used to love their peanut butter and some other stuff but not their cookies. She did buy soy milk there though.

  5. Well, our cat Neko is 22 years and loves milk. He also loves any desert with cream in it, like ice cream, cream cheese, whip cream. He suffered a serious stroke recently which paralyzed him almost completely. The vet said it was time to go. But Neko was not about to give up. Through his determination and willingness, he has almost completely recovered now. Please watch this amazing heart warming video of his journey.
