New Year, New Meow

Not new me human, it’s still little old me, but a new meow because a new name and design for my blog!

Finally, human!

New Blog Design

I had announced this a while back. My human I finally decided on a name, and the design has been slightly changed, but there might be more design changes (that is if my human decides to work on it before another six months pass…).

Welcome to My New Home of the Internet!

Hiya everyone!

I hope you are all doing fine. Milou seems to be doing a bit better =^.^=

As I said on Sunday, I have a big piece of news to announce and this is that I now have my own domain! My assistant human was so frustrated by the limits the WordPress.com blog had, that she bought me a domain and a hosting place! Yeah!

Kitshka and I are super happy for our new place! Milou would like to know if that means more food is coming…

Now, don’t get us wrong: WordPress.com is a wonderful free tool and it served us well the past (almost) two years and we are thankful for it!
Time had come to get serious though.

So, what do you need to do?

If you have bookmarked my blog, or entered its URL (address) in a reader, you have to change this URL (address): The new address is

To keep on receiving my notifications by email, you need to subscribe again (sorry): enter your email address in the little box, on the top of the sidebar on your right. UPDATE: The furry nice people at WordPress have just notified me that they had successfully moved all my followers to my new blog. SO, if you were already following me, you should not have to subscribe again. You should receive my Wordless Wednesday post tomorrow without doing anything. Please do let me know if you don’t. A BIG thank you to WordPress!

The WordPress.com blog you used to know will stay for now, but it won’t be updated anymore. Pics of me and Kitshka and Milou will be here!

As you can see, the design of the blog is pretty much the same. For now. Changes are to come, but since this is a kitty blog, you know, we thought they should come gradually ;-)

VBP Thursday: The One When It Ended

Dear Furriends,

Today, we have a special announcement regarding the VBP Blog Hop.

On January 17 of this year, Jet, Savannah, and I started a blog hop called VBP – Vocab Building Project (Check above link for more information).

We had lots of fun using new words, and I loved looking for French/English idioms (VBP) that were similar or not and which included the word cat. Unfortunately, life being life, we cannot get the energy needed to continue it right now. So we have decided to stop it, at least momentarily.

I would like to thank all the furriends who collaborated in this project:

Jet and his human, for coming up with the original idea for the blog hop! We’re sending you lots of purrs and hugs!

Savannah and her human, for their perseverance (VBP) and patience, and for posting when we couldn’t. We send you hugs and purrs too!

Miss Ann from Zoolatry for creating all the graphics that you see on this post, as well as the badges. Again, hugs and purrs!

Last but not least, thank you to all the furriends who pawticipated! We hope you had fun in the process. We certainly loved reading your posts! Lots of purrs!

So, for now, we are closing the VBP dictionary and stopping the hop. But one day maybe…

More Awesomeness from my Furriends!

It’s Sunday and before I go on with my blogging I want to thank my furriends (furry friends and humans!) who awarded me a couple of, well, awards =^.^=

First, Miss Lisa, at ft. // La vie éclectique. Sorry to respond only now, but with my human running around and everything…

I am very moved by your nomination and I thank you so very much with many purrs! Indeed Miss Lisa nominated me for the Blog on Fire Award!

I have to admit though that my human had to explain that my blog wasn’t actually on fire and why it was a pretty cool award! Thanks again Miss Lisa! You rock!
(I think humans have some strange uses of words…)

So I have to share 8 unusual things about me… Everything about me is special, because I am special. But let’s go:

1. I said earlier that “I don’t want humans to call me red (to quote my human, I am white and cream colored).” Sometimes my human also says I am Caramel Macchiato.
2. Because my human likes to wear black pants to work, I like to put some of my white hair on them
3. I love chicken out my human’s plate
4. I miss having some yogurt from time to time, like the ones I had in France
5. I like to climb on trees
6. I like the false mouse my human brought me back from Boston
7. Once I licked olives on the humans’ table and they never suspected it!
8. I have a collar with the American flag (I already had it in France!)

I don’t know what to say… My human keeps on telling me I am lovely, but it’s so nice when it comes from furriends and fellow bloggers. I love my little place on the Internet and I like to share it with my furriends. I am glad if you find it lovely and inspiring. Wow. I’m purring loudly right now…
