I Am a Dinosaur Now. Roarrrrr!

Hiya everyone!

(These are toys from Christmas that I haven’t been able to post about yet)

My human says she is sorry she has been so busy she could not help me with my blog (again) (she sounds like what humans call a broken record). She says she’s slept only 2 hours last night (humans are nuts). So?

Today is a special day. Today is my birthday and I turn 10! Kitshka told me I was a Senior now. Hmpft. Then, by email, my human told me the vet in NY had said I was a Senior when I turned 6. HMPFT.

Anyway, the good news is that rumor is my human is coming back for good in about a month (how many kibbles does that make?), so paws crossed. I’ll organize a big pawty when she’s back so you can all learn to know who I am again!

In the meantime, the male human bought me some special wet food that I really like.

Happy Purrthday to Me! I’m 8!

Hiya my Furriends,

Sorry I have not been around. My human has been unwilling to help me much. Today is my purrthday so she “consented” to typing this post…

You’ll never guess what she said I’ll get for my birthday… She said she would help me visit you this weekend and maybe type some posts! I really cannot wait!

Milou and Kitshka are doing fine too, by the way! Milou has regained some of the weight he had lost because of his health issues =^.^=

Hope you will forgive me and wait for me while I wait for my human…

Here are some pictures of Milou taken when we were still in New York. He’s a real hard worker!

So we Milou had the fountain and the box that came with it as gifts. My human was looking for something else (let it be a nip toy! let it be a nip toy!), that she couldn’t find at the local pet store, so there might be some surprises for tonight. I will keep you posted. And if you were wondering, there is still no nip in the metallic cat‘s arms BUT there is cat grass growing on the deck =^.^=

Without further ado, let’s pawty like there is no vacuum cleaner!

We’ve got fresh salmon and tuna! We’ve got all sort of raw fish!

We’ve got chicken breast and KFC fried chicken (Sparkle, we know you like them).

Belated Thanks on Caturday and an Update on our Cat Tree

Despite the craziness that is our house these days, we want to take a moment to thank you all for coming to my Gotcha Day Pawty and to Kitshka’s Birthday Pawty.

I know! This was almost a month ago! But I just wanted to stress that we really appreciated, despite the silence!

My human (who is obviously at least partly responsible for the craziness), would also like to thank all of our readers who wished her a happy birthday (again almost a month ago) via my blog (she thanked those who posted wishes on her blog already – hmpf).

My furriend Easy had sent this pawsome card for her:

And I had ordered a gift for my human’s birthday. A gift I found at Mollie and Alfie‘s shop, here. Lovely cat earrings I paid for with ~~my human’s paypal account~~ kibbles for Alfie.

Well, my furriends added a lovely bracelet with it! I was very happy (because Kitshka played with and broke my gift to my human, a hairball bracelet!) and so was my human! She was very moved! She loves both the earrings and the bracelet!

In other news, you might have seen that the humans have disassembled our cat tree and put it in a box yesterday? Well, Kitshka has a plan (again!). She has seized the male human’s tools and plans to re-assemble our tree during the night!

Does anyone by any chance has the assembly notice though?

Happy Purrthday, Mademoiselle Kitshka!

Thank you all very much for your wishes for my/my human’s Gotcha Day and for coming to my pawty and for visiting my bloggie! We are late on visiting again but we do our best to visit you every time we can!

Today we celebrate Kitshka’s first birthday! Are you ready?

Kitshka received some nice cards from Furriends. Sammy and Easy sent her these lovely cards:

She had chicken & duck stew topped with freeze-dried shrimps and a Kitshka-size dollop of cream cheese (which she attacked first).

It wasn’t easy for my human to take pictures because Little K is quick to eat anything in front of her.

And if someone tries to steal her food, she has the situation in her paws…

Then came the gifts, with which she immediately started to play!

Can you tell she likes feathers? She likes her new snake too!

What?! It’s a snake??

I have to shkill you shnake!

Awww… did it hurt? Here’s a bisou…

But you’re a shnake!!

After all these adventures, our happy, one year old, Mademoiselle Kitshka is napping.

We are all so happy to have you in our family, Kitshka. Even if you are a little crazy, we all love you to bits =^.^=

Sorry we have been posting and visiting sporadically lately. I was hoping to catch up today but my human spent hours on the computer and then… she went for a walk in the forest!!!

This is also the day I have chosen my human, 7 years ago! I have to admit, after 7 years, I still have to train her everyday. Well, we’ll see if she comes up with something I can be proud of tomorrow…

She’s grown up now but she is as pretty as ever!

This is my human’s birthday. Not that we should care… except that she usually gives us extra treats because it’s her birthday. In the end, 7 years of training have yielded some good results too ;-)

Who’s Seven Today? Little-Not-So-Old Me!

Hiya everyone!

First of all, the VBP post will be posted exceptionally (VBP) by Kitshka tomorrow.

Now to really impawtant things.

How are you doing today? I’m glad that you came because my human has been preparing some treats for my purrthday just for me and I want to share them with my furriends! That’s you!

First things first: look at the beautiful cards I received from my furriends!

It’s an honor to have such a beautiful Ladycat sending me a card!

My human’s mother – the best cat sitter EVER! – sent me this yummy cupcake on Facebook!

And I also received chicken from Vincent, one of my Facebook fans!

Oh! I almost forgot: my vet sent me a cool ecard too!

Thank you all so furry much! And thank you to all of you who left wishes on my Facebook profile!

Look what I got!

4 different bags of treats, catnip puffs, a catnip pepper and… a tunnel! I love my catnip pepper already!

The tunnel is amazing! It sounds like crinkly paper and there are lights!

I received my best favorite ever food from Europe, thanks to Janina!

And as a cake, my human wanted to make me a tuna cake BUT since I had received all this wonderful food from France, I had my favorite: Tuna & Shrimps!

There is some for everyone, so help yourself! There are treats too! Go ahead! You can taste them all!

Then we can go play in my new tunnel!

Finally, the human had this weird idea to bake something for your humans too. When she told me what she baked, I was shocked! SHOCKED!

Have no fear! Those are just biscuits that have the shape of our tongues. Ah! Humans really!

VBP Thursday: Some News Ahead

I take a break from my weekly bilingual VBP post to dispatch (VBP) some news.

First, little-no-so-old me is literally (VBP) in the news! Yes I am!

No, not the newspawper! But I’m in a magazine. You know this bundle (VBP) of glossy (VBP) papers the humans (especially female humans) read. Want to know more? Consider visiting me on Saturday (well, yes, today is VBP day, I can’t take all the glory ;-)

Second piece of news is that little-not-so-old me is turning 7 in exactly one week! I don’t feel like I am aging (VBP)! Can you tell this face is almost 7?

Mademoiselle Kitshka’s Birthday, Boxing Day, and Thanks!

Today, Mademoiselle Kitshka is 6 month old! Happy birthday, Kitshka!
Now that you’re almost not a kitten anymore, could you stop playing with my tail? What? No. Pfft. Okay.

Since today is Boxing Day, we didn’t want to miss it! We LOVE boxes! And that is part of the wonderfulness of Christmas: boxes left behind!
I know on this day we are supposed to give our humans a gift, but aren’t we, kitties, a year-long gift, really?
