Mondays Are For Memories: My First Cat Tree

Mondays Are For Memories: My First Cat Tree

Do you remember your first cat tree? I do!

It was all small (I mean for an adult cat, which I wasn’t at the time) and I loved it! It had a little cave, scratch posts and a huge circle I could use to travel around the tree.

Let me show you.

When I was teeny tiny, I could play inside the circle on top and try to catch the pompom! And yes, those were my toys at the time!

Did you have a tiny tree once?

Mondays Are For Memories: More Kitten Naps

***Just a quick info to start with: people in the Tri-State area, do you know Jackson Galaxy and Gwen Cooper are going to be talking cats (what else?!) tomorrow at Strand Books? My human has only seen the info in the Strand Books newsletter, so I thought I would share! You can check the info here.***

Now back to our Mondays are for Memories.

I have already featured pics of me napping as a kitten, and since I know you cannot get enough of them, here are some more!

I was 4-month old on these pics. My human was trying her brand new DSLR and I was her model! (You might recognize a picture I used last week ;-)

Mondays Are for Memories: Suitcases

I have a love-hate relationship with suitcases. While they are fun to play in and sometimes comfy to sleep in (especially when the human has already put clothes in one of them), they usually mean that the human is leaving for an undetermined number of days. Sometimes I might travel with her, though.

When I was younger, my human had to travel a lot, and I quickly understood that suitcases were not a good sign: they have the power to steal my human from me!

One day, to show my discontent, I peed in an empty one my human had left opened. You think my human would have thanked me for trying to prevent the suitcase from kidnapping her? Pfft, not even! She was not pleased at all!

So I tried different techniques, but mostly sit-ins. It never deterred my human from leaving :-/

Yes, human. It is your lingerie. Why?

Yes, human. It is your lingerie. Why?

Do you like suitcases and if not, do you have a technique to make them disappear?

Mondays are for Memories: A Kitten’s Nap

My human had an urgent (understand: she had completely forgotten about it) paper to finish yesterday and could not finish the post we wanted to have today.
This morning, she felt like she had caught a cold or something, so today’s post had to be rescheduled.

I haven’t posted a “Monday are for Memories” for some time now, so here is a picture of me napping in my carrier when I was a little less than 3 months. I had just been adopted (3 days before). The picture was taken on my human’s birthday (really human, who cares about that?).

Have a great day, furriends!

Short This and That

Just some things before we call it a day at our home.

=^.^= Some of my furriends’ humans asked for my human’s tiramisu buche recipe. Hmpf. Seriously? Okay, you can find it on her blog in English and in French. There is a picture of Kitshka that she has not posted on my blog. Double hmpf.
You’d better make me taste mascarpone next time, human!

=^.^= We want to wish our Jewish furriends a HAPPY HANUKKAH! There’s a Chanukah Blog Crawl starting today. Check it out!

=^.^= Kitshka has a new pink, catnip-packed, bunny friend. My human had got it especially for her, for after her operation.

But to say the truth, I think the bunny was more excited than Kitshka. She was more interested in what Milou was doing. She’s almost back to normal ;-)

Nite-Nite furriends!

Kitshka Friday: She is back home!

First of all, thank you all very much for your purrs, thoughts and purrayers. We all really do appreciate so much!

The humans went to pick up Kitshka at the V-E-T about 1 hour ago and they say this is my little sister but I have to say she smells very different.
I first had my doubts and had to hiss and grow a little just in case, you know.

Of course, she looks like Kitshka and she acts like Kitshka: she’s all crazy and stuff, running after me and wanting to climb the furniture to get to my food. So I guess it’s really her. Her tummy has been shaved though and is all pink!

The funny part is my human running behind her saying “Non, non! Kitshka, non!”. MOL!

So what so you think, is it my little K?

She is a little tired now, so I am going to let her sleep while I’m visiting your bloggies. Thanks to all of you! We’ll be back tomorrow!

Mondays are for… nothing in particular today

I am taking a break from the usual “Mondays are for memories” because we just feel like doing nothing today.

You still have until midnight today to play to our little game. We’ve seen many good answers already! Someone is going to be treated to a little package soon =^.^=

In the meantime, we’ll just do what we do best!
