Dona Nobis Pacem – The kitties’ way

This quote, by a famous French author, illustrates the innocence and peace of us kitties, according to my human (French and original version at the end of the post). What do you think?

Reading my furriends’ bloggies, I saw that today many of them were pawticipating in a special blog blast titled Dona Nobis Pacem: Grant us Peace.
You can find more details at BlogBlast4Peace as well as on Mimi Lenox’s website.

This is our first time pawticipating in this event and we wanted to do something special. Of course, us kitties know the secret to peace and happiness (and many other things, some we will not share!). So I wanted to share part of this secret with you. How Kitshka and I find peace. Are you ready?

*** We wish you all
Peace in your home
As well as in your world
And we send lots of purrs
to help you on the way! ***

  1. “Peace starts with a Purr”: Motor Mommy and I love it!! The pictures of the two of you are just great – wish effuryone could get along so well.

  2. That is a wonderful post and so true. If we would take lessons from the cats, we would probably have a lot more peace. We are sure purring for Peace. Take care.

  3. Welcome to BlogBlast4Peace, Texas! This is a lovely first peace post, and I love that peace starts with a purr, cuddles and a relaxing time :-) Peace to you and yours!

(A link to your post will be on “Peace Bloggers Unite” later)

  4. What a great post! Gotta learn more about that project! My human used to sing with a choir back in the day (before she came to Canada and before I was born) and she says that the Dona Nobis Pacem was one of her favourites.

Hope things are good for you and all your family. I’ll try to catch up with your posts but it’s unlikely I’ll be able to read them all :P

  5. You are my new favorite peace bloggers for sure. Besides the beautiful quote on your globe, the series of pics depicting peace (alliteration abounds…sorry) could not have been more perfect. Outstanding!
You are #2505 in the Official Peace Globe gallery @ blog4peace.com

Thank you for blogging peace with us.
