Wordless Wednesday: It’s Not What You Think
I Am Officially a Cat Scout! And I Have a Partner for the Ball!
Dear Furriends!
I am glad to announce that I am now officially a Cat Scout! I have been declared Purrpared as I persisted in getting access to the Cat Scout site despite the fact that a goblin had probably deleted my confirmation email!
Today I am going to do some shopping with the human plastic card, to be even more purrpared! I think I will shop at Rei. They have lots of stuff that can come handy to a Tenderpaw. Look!
I am also very honored to go to the ball with Lisbeth of The Cat on My Head.
I would like to thank Speedy for suggesting Nylablue, and to Honey Delite of Pawsitively Pets for offering to come with me. I would have been honored to go with these two pawsome Ladycats too! I decided to accept the first official offer, which came from the beautiful Lisbeth!
Now I have to find out what to wear. I was thinking about being a gargoyle, like the ones in Notre Dame de Paris. What do you think? Do you think I’d make a scary gargoyle?
Tocks Story, Cat Scouts, and the Halloween Ball
I’m taking a break from my Mondays are for Memories series.
Those of you who are furriends with me on Facebook know that I have been extra nice this weekend in order to lift my human’s spirits: cuddles, staying next to her, coming when she calls (well, that’s not often that I would do that!), purring all day…
All of this generally works pretty well. One thing I found out works well too in this kind of situation, is making the humans laugh. Have you tried?
I tried to play monorail cat, for example…
… but the couch was too big for my tocks!
Who said it was my tocks that were too big?!?
Anyway, I asked Kitshka to show her tocks to see if the problem was mine. Mademoiselle Fluff gave us a show!
So I relied on playing with her to distract the human (please, forgive the mess around, strangely cleaning the house is not necessarily a cheering activity for humans…)
The human laughed. Mission accomplished.
In other news, I have officially asked Lisbeth of The Cat on My Head to come with me to the Halloween Ball. But I am waiting for her answer.
I have also convinced my human to register me for the Cat Scouts. I have never received my confirmation email thanks to which I can complete my registration though. So I guess I’ll have to get my human to send them an email.
Maybe my human should cuddle with me now, while I am waiting for these two impawtant email?
Happy Tocktober everyone!
Wordless Wednesday: I’m Telling You It Fits!
Mondays Are For Memories: My Monchhichi
For those of you whose humans are not too young, your humans might have had a Monchhichi (in French, we pronounced it Monkeykey) monkey doll when they were kids.
My human had one and since she wasn’t playing with it anymore because, she said, she was already an adult when I adopted her, she gave it to me. It seems strange to me that she would stop playing with it because it’s a fun toy and I loved it.
Did you or your human have a Monchhichi?
Mondays Are For Memories: My Tent
When I was still living alone with my human near Paris, one day she brought back a super cool tent from the pet store.
I played and played in it, outside of it…
…alone or with my mousie!
I loved it to bits.
When we moved to America, I thought my human had thrown it away or it had been lost during the move.
But no! And my human resurrected it recently, when we moved to the state named after me!
I just love it still!
Although I am not the only kitty in the house anymore…
[Note from the human: this tent was given as a gift by my pet store, although I had not even bought Iams food. It is not very solid – in fact, Texas and now Kitshka, destroyed it many times, but Texas loves it so much that I keep on fixing it as I can. And to think I would probably never have bought it because I would have thought it to be not of such good quality!]
This Day Be Meow Like A Scurvy Pirate Day!
Chicken, Shrimp, and Nip
Thank you all so very much for coming to Milou’s pawty on Monday! Milou was very touched to see you all at his purrthday. I hope you had a good time, for we sure did!
The humans came back home with some more gifts for Milou: a nip mousie, that was not super successful so far (of course, Milou prefers my magic carrot!), and a wand toy with birdie and peacock feathers (my human wasn’t able to get any picture for this one).
As mentioned before, Milou has a special diet and it is extremely rare that the humans would give him anything else for fear it would cause him health problems. But for his purrthday, he was treated with one of my Almo Nature wet food of chicken and shrimps that he devoured in less than 2 minutes… and he didn’t leave any crumb behind. Kitshka checked.

And then Milou went back to his favorite activity:
In other news, have you heard that a cat cafe is opening in Paris, France? My human and I are very excited about it, as you can guess!
Happy Birthday, Milou!
Happy Purrthday, Milou! We can’t believe you are 14!
Look! Sammy sent you this cool card:
Thank you Sammy!
And then the human of Zoey the Cool Cat posted this video in the comments for you:
Thank you!
And look what Archie, Oscar, and Henry created:
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Today is your special day! And even though you keep on hissing at me all the time (like, ALL the time), I am wishing you many more years of happiness and what you do best, farniente!
Here are some pictures of Milou taken when we were still in New York. He’s a real hard worker!
So we Milou had the fountain and the box that came with it as gifts. My human was looking for something else (let it be a nip toy! let it be a nip toy!), that she couldn’t find at the local pet store, so there might be some surprises for tonight. I will keep you posted. And if you were wondering, there is still no nip in the metallic cat‘s arms BUT there is cat grass growing on the deck =^.^=
Without further ado, let’s pawty like there is no vacuum cleaner!
We’ve got fresh salmon and tuna! We’ve got all sort of raw fish!
We’ve got chicken breast and KFC fried chicken (Sparkle, we know you like them).
We’ve got nip cigars and nip pillows and wait…
I am granting each and everyone of you access to the toilet paper! Woohoo!
Have fun and HAPPY BIRTHDAY MILOU!
