I think the female human loves my toesies a lot. I wonder why.
I also wonder if that could get me some cream cheese…

It snowed all day here. Still does.
As we prepare for the blizzard and my human is uncooperative busy, we might only visit and comment sporadically. I am so sorry for that. But I made my human swear she would make up for it somehow by the end of the week =^.^=
Meanwhile, staying warm isn’t the only activity our little Kitshka has. She struck a pose for the human because she thinks all this snow in the background makes her prettier.
Sigh. Ladycats, really…
Stay warm and dry my furriends experiencing the blizzard!
And I’ve been working, like a cat.
My silly human forgot about the following video when I first posted about me as a kitten playing with fruits.
Silly human.
Hope you like the video.
My bloggies furriends, with my human being completely inconsistent, I discovered only today that a French bloggie furriend had health issues with skin blotches (I think that’s how we say in English) over her body that are very itchy.
My furriend’s name is Dayak and Dayak’s vet prescribed cortisone to help her.
If you have a minute today, would you mind stopping by her bloggie or send some purrs?
Here is her last post and here is the homepage to her blog.
If you want to leave a comment, click on “laisser un commentaire” and leave your name, email or blog url (optional) and comment and don’t forget to tick the little box (the text says that racial insults are forbidden by law)
I hope she gets better real soon! We’re sending lots of purrs sweetie! Pleins de ronrons pour toi !
Alright furriends, I am so not pleased with my human and her not giving me time to 1) post on my blog, 2) visit all my furriends’ bloggies (I tried this but didn’t manage to visit all of you yet – sorry).
Sooooo, being a French kitty, I’m threatening to STRIKE: no more purrs, no more letting my human pet me if we are not back by THIS Friday (and have additional dried tuna treats everyday and tuna juice twice a week)! You hear me human? Of course I will train Kitshka in the art of French strike.
Kitshka has started making banners out of Christmas gift paper she found behind a closet, hidden (!). Agreed, she needs a little more practice.
Today, we have planned a sit-in in front of the desk.
Oh and human, we KNOW where the Greenies are. So Friday is the lastest limit.
[My human was scared enough about the no-purring threat that she helped me post this one, so Kitshka and I have high hopes]
Remember a couple of days ago when I explained how to get your human’s attention when your human was reading in bed? Well, it looks like I got a little too much attention. She decided she wanted some snuggling time instead of reading!
Seriously, what’s with the snuggles and kisses?! I just need to play and get some tuna!
Human! What are all the Ladycats reading my blog going to think now?! I’m a grown Mancat for Ceiling Cat sake!
Hiya furriends,
I know I haven’t posted or visited your blog for a couple of days now. I apologize. But I have a good reason.
We were so in the spirit of Labor Day Kitshka and I, with our human laboring, that we thought we should nap not only for us, but for our humans too. Aren’t we kind kitties?
We will be answering your comments and visiting your blog some time today, after our nap =^.^=
In the meantime, here are some napping techniques to help your human benefit from your napping.
Curled-up-position, or the Cat (sometimes mispronounced “Chi”) position – Let the energy flow all around
On the side position – Let’s direct the energy in the good direction
The yin-yang-kinda position – We provide the napping while the humans provide the laboring. We all have our part to play.
This position is very powerful. Let me show you how much it is powerful.
Can you feel the energy?
The top-down position – A great way to share the energy, from the top
Occupy-the-human’s-desk position – Obviously, my human’s husband’s desk needs a little “cleansing energy”
The raised-behind position – A revolutionary technique developed by Kitshka, and supervised by myself
The long-distance position – The greater the length of kitties in the house, the better
Obviously, as you can see, Kitshka shows great and promising skills. She has a good master =^.^=
Hiya my furriends!
I finally get to dictate my post to my human to thank you all for the awards you nominated me for.
(Yes, I only get the laptop back now, because after the seminar thingie, my human’s new excuse is webinar thingies…).
Let me thank my very good furriend Sammy for nominating me for the Thinking of You blog award. What a wonderful award, especially for a blogger! Thank you so much, Sammy.
This is a brand new award and I will go back to the acceptance rules in a minute =^.^=
Thank you to Angelswhisper and Zac for nominating me for the One Lovely Blog Award. I already have this award but I am very grateful to receive it from you too, and I’m sending lots of purrs your way!
Zac also mentioned a Grazie/My Beautiful Lipstick Award that gained me a big kiss/lick! Thanks Zac! I would like to dedicate this award to one reader especially and that’s anonymoushedonist (because of the beautiful lipstick, you know ;-)
Another award I didn’t have is the Beautiful Blogger Award. I was nominated by my furriend Easy and my new human furriends at the Bonny Blog. Thank you so very much to Easy and the Bonny Blog! It’s nice to be called a “beautiful blogger” ;-)
The rules to accept the Thinking of You Award:
1. Thank and link back to the sender — Done =^.^=
2. Tell seven things that I love and that I think about daily — Now that’s easy, check below!
3. Pass the award to seven other blogs — Again check below
Here are my seven things that I love and think about daily:

3. Nominate 15 bloggers for the award — 15… I am never gonna be able to nap and play with my human tonight!
Here are the 7 things you didn’t know about Kitshka:
=^.^= She’s only 1.1 lb
=^.^= She is trying to eat out of everyone’s bowl and plate (yes that includes the humans and she seems hungrier than Milou!)
=^.^= She was born one day before my human’s birthday
=^.^= She prefers to be on the ground than in the air
=^.^= She bites the humans already with her teenie tiny teeth
=^.^= She’s not afraid of Milou’s hissing

Those are in no particular order. I wish I could give those to more of my readers but I think making a selection now and then enables us to visit new bloggies of furriends we may not know. I know I like to check the lists of furry bloggers for bloggies I don’t know yet ;-)
If you already have one of these awards, consider it as a token of my great appreciation for your bloggie.
Now I have to let know everyone… I think I will do that partly tonight and partly tomorrow. But maybe tomorrow.
Purrs and nite-nite to everyone!
But the center is in France :-/
450 cats and 200 dogs are in a full board hotel in Elven. Twelve years ago, the company Diana Pet Food set up one of the biggest testing centers for pets in the world there, in order to assess what food they like best. Kibbles and pâtées makers love it.
According to the article, cats live the good life in this place similar to a “3-star hotel” and can choose the food they prefer.
That’s exactly the goal of this “3-star hotel” for dogs and cats, based in Elven (Morbihan, France) . . . . to test the attraction of the pets to the ingredients that Diana Pet Food prepares in order to go with kibbles and pâtées. Powders or potions, “made with natural ingredients,” that the company will sell to Purina, Mars Royal Canin, or retailer groups brands…, the biggest names in animal food. “We hold 55% of the global market of appetence factors,” explains Jean-Pierre Rivery, Diana Pet Food’s President.
Apparently, there are 200 dogs and 450 cats living there. It is kind of like human homes only with a lot more food options.
What bothers me a little is that dogs and cats come very young from breeders and “work’ there only for a period of 4 to 5 years. Then they are “given for adoption.” But we all know that adult cats (and dogs I guess?) are less wanted when they are already adults…
They also say that the food has to smell good to… humans!
In Elven, humans give their opinion. “We must give satisfaction to the animal and the smell must please their owner” [sic!] analyzes Isabelle Guiller, R&D Director. “If it smells bad he [the human] won’t buy it again.” But owners [geez!] are received in white, sterile cubicles. For in Elven, the VIP room is for [pets].
There’s a video in the article. It’s in French but you can see a little bit the testing center.
So what do you think?
